Fernando Rico-Villademoros, has a Bachelor degree in Medicine at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specialized in Pharmaceutical Medicine. He has got a Master in Pharmacoepidemiology at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. He has developed his professional activity during more than 20 years in pharmaceutical companies, working in the medical department of several multinational companies and contract research organizations (CROs), where he held positions with different responsibilities. Currently, he works at COCIENTE which provides consultancy in clinical research, training and medical writing. He collaborates in variety of postgraduate courses in research methodology and medical communication at various public entities (Universidad de Granada, Universidad del País Vasco), as well as private ones (ESAME, EPHOS, CESIF). He is also a Research Associate at Instituto de Neurociencias de la Universidad de Granada. In addition, he is the author of several local and international publications, most of them in the psychopharmacology area. Furthermore, he is a member of the Spanish Association of Medical Writers and the Spanish Association of Sexuality and Mental Health.
